Department of Electronics

The Department of Electronics was established in the year 2012-2013 with an introduction of B.Sc. Electronics. Subsequently, in the academic year 2015-16, Part time and Full Time courses in M.Phil., and Ph.D., have been introduced.

Conferences

1. Subject oriented conferences have been conducted for the benefit of our students.
2. Conference on servicing in Electronic equipments, Mobile Phone service and PCB design were conducted during the academic year 2014-15.
3. A seminar on Servicing and Handling of Biomedical instruments was organized in this academic year.

National Science Day

1. The National science Day has been celebrated by our Department for every year.
2. An eye on infusing scientific thoughts within the minds of our students, essay – writing, quiz ,paper presentation and project display competitions were held on 26.2.16 for this year . As a token of encouragement prize and certificates were distributed to the top three achievers in each event.
3. The chief guest Thiru.V.Nandakumar IRS, Joint Commissioner, Department of Commercial Tax, Government of India has spoken among the students about “Personality development” during the National Science Day celebration.

Employment Opportunities

One of our Final year students was placed in MicroMax and nine of our Final year students got opportunity in various companies by the campus interview conducted in our College during the academic year 2014-15.
